🌿 Rachel's Reflections: The Habits We Don't Notice

This week, I've been thinking about habits.

Not the kind that involve early morning workouts or giving up chocolate. The little habits we hardly notice.

The habit of putting everyone else's needs before our own.

The habit of saying,"I'll start next week."

The habit of feeling guilty for taking time for ourselves.

The habit of believing we have to do everything perfectly, or not at all.

t's easy to think that improving our health means adding more to our already busy lives.

But what if it wasn't about adding anything?

What if it was about gently noticing the habits that no longer serve us?

This week, I'd love you to ask yourself one simple question.

What's one small habit I could let go of to make a little more space for myself?

It doesn't have to be life changing.

  • It could be sitting down to eat your lunch instead of rushing in front of a laptop, or in a meeting. Giving your body the time to enjoy your food will lead to it feeling more nourished and satisfied, supporting reduced cravings.

  • Going for a short walk.

  • Saying no without feeling guilty.

  • Putting your phone down and just resting for 5 minutes.

Small changes often create the biggest ripples.

You don't have to change everything.

You just have to start where you are.

🌿 This week's reflection:

Healthy habits aren't built by being harder on yourself. They're built by being kinder to yourself, one small choice at a time.

Feeling stuck and don't know where to start?
